enbar says: Following up on two previous clips (http://snipurl.com/1hmad and http://snipurl.com/1hn29), here is a screenshot of the output of the Yahoo! Pipe I created. Very cool. It looks like you've got anything with post:tumblr getting posted over to tumblr, am I reading it right? Let me know if you hit snags or need other data. I love seeing mashups like this! That's exactly right. I need to fix the pipe so that people can omit a tag and post all their clips. I realize I am also stealing your bandwidth with the icon. I will move it to a free host. I'll let you know if anything comes up. This is really an experiment -- I don't really know anything about coding or xml or whatever so I am feeling my way through this in the dark I take that back. the URL http://rss.clipmarks.com/clipper/name/tags/ contains a feed with all clips. So it already works. My biggest problem is that in trying to tack on the final bit to the mashup -- where it says (Source: www.pipes.com) with the domain linked to the original clip source, I did something which results in the whole thing breaking if there is a live link included in the clip description. I am completely new to regex syntax and the like so I don't entirely grasp what I've done, so it'll take me some time to figure this out. Enbar...I'm trying to follow all those steps and now you tell me "it'll take me some time to figure this out." I'm sorry I'm laughing.. heh .. well we're all in this grand web 2.0 adventure together, I suppose. Give me an idea of what you're trying to do, and maybe I can give you some pointers on how to do it. |
