They are breaking us, tearing us down so they can rebuild us the way they want. It's what the military did to the draftees before they sent them to Viet Nam. They've already started to tell us that we're happy. Are we happy?

I hate studies and surveys.
How can one possibly take outcome of this farce seriously?
To get a more accurate result, there would also have to be
a side by side study on whether both happy and sad people
post their feelings EQUALLY!

I agree with you chestnut. Tear us down and rebuild us
as the robots they want us to be.

I've never been asked to do a survey, nor has anyone else I know, are they with real people, anyway we're usually a mixture, good days and bad.

I feel my future will not have the same chance as I had in my past.

I feel that mandatory vaccinations and more jobs-killing legislation will destroy that which made us great.

I feel that I am sick to death of sheep believing the crap we are spoonfed.

But hey, I'm just a pessimist and all is well. Right? Isn't it?

I suppose it depends if you have personally experimented with where happiness comes from and does it really matter whether the collective is happy or not? Do I want my life to be dictated to by the collective feeling of happy or unhappy. If I find in my world the people I am encountering are unhappy - yet I am riding a wave of bliss - I just go underground and explore happiness on my own. When the people in my world are happy again I resurface and become more sociable.

Likewise if I am unhappy and everyone else is happy. I also disappear because sometimes my unhappiness is a gift to something else much brighter than what I had before.
