(I would use a condom every time with a new partner.)

I have heard many of my friends say that they stop using a condom after going out with the same girl for some time 'going steady' 'monogamous relationship'

However this doesn't address the fact that either or both may be carrying HIV or other STDs

So how do you say to your girlfriend / boyfriend "lets stop using a condom - BUT lets both get checked at the clinic first"

And also assumes that each person trusts the other to be monogamous.

Young kids think they are invincible. "It can't happen to me."

The same goes for people who ride a motorcycle without a helmet. Irresponsible.
