reneeg says: Have done some of these all my life, and they really work. Always carry a small notebook and a pen or pencil around with you. That way, if you are struck by an idea, you can quickly note it down.I recently started doing this and it's been incredibly helpful. So many random ideas about clipmarks go through my mind every day. I now rely on the pad and pen in my back pocket to record them all. I then review everything i've jotted down whenever i get some spare time. Like this clip says, many of them i ultimately decide to ignore, but that's not the important thing. The key is that i am now better able to remember and manage the sparks that my imagination produce. I always have a pad and pen near my bed. If I have an idea or something comes to my mind I just write a few words on it. It helps me a lot.. I could use this list....thank you reneeg... I love the idea of going to the dictionary when stuck. One of the sessions I ran at PodCampNYC was a contest where we gave teams a list of random words, and they had to pick two and come up with a name, business plan, logo, marketing plan, and source of revenue. It was amazing the stuff people came up with when given some restrictions! Betwixt my brain and hand exists a deep chasm. So, I'm off to buy a notebook. Thanks I've been carrying a Moleskine pocket notebook and a nice pen around in my pocket for several years. I've managed to fill up a couple of them now. About to go onto another actually. Definitely helps. |
