People here just from watching TV think they need more than they really do. Since I lost the use of my credit cards I'm obviously shopping and buying a lot less. But you know something, I'm not lacking for what I do need, which is food for my grandchildren when they're here, and I can still bake them cookies they like.

You cannot fill an empty hole with something that is also empty. All you really need are the basics and good people around you.

As for tv? Go all rockstar and trash it, not only will you have fun you'll be alot better off mentally for it.

No TV here, I refused to go along with the digital transition. I miss my comedy shows though. I live alone on the prairie with my 18 year old blind and deaf dog.
