great commercials...(especially since i'm a big John Mayer fan)..but even the Slash one keeps me from using my repote to change channels.

If VW brought the hammer down on this I withdraw half of the brilliant points I had awarded them.

Probably creative genius trumped by lawyerly stupidity.

I thought they were very good ads, especially the Slash one. VW did the bike thing last time, and guitars seem like a really good way of keeping up that same young image their going for. Plus guys from aerosmith, cure, depeche mode all use first act so this seems like a pretty good way for first act to get some press too.
