Two words: "Mission Accomplished"

All of it is blather, on both sides of the coin.

The Democrats won pretty big, and most Lefties I talk to are mad as heck with them. It's only on the Internet that people think their obstructionism is indeed fighting the good fight.

They're just too radical to govern - they consistently have to be on the attack. That means they can be great as a third party, as a movement that creates a shift in how we think about politics, but probably cannot be trusted with the reins of power.

Well, since the Republicans have soundly demonstrated that they are beyond simply untrustworthy; incapable of tending even a lemonade stand in July, I guess we better find some new voices to put in the offices.
