i'm just starting web design with GoLive, but i would have external links (links not taking the user somewhere in your site) open in a new window. this allows them to view the link and still navegate your site.

Anyone that has new windows opened as opposed to new tabs, should upgrade to a tabbed browser such as Firefox 2 or IE 7.

Please excuse my ignorance, however, could someone elaborate for me what this actually means? Thanks.
