Haven’t you started noticing that the mainstream media ALWAYS wants you to think we’re right on the brink of apocalypse?

Characteristic of just about every hardcore leftist. Always afraid of their own shadow. If it's not the coming ice age, food shortages, over-population, the ozone layer, second-hand smoke, hetero-sexual AIDS, on and on, they would have no reason to exist.
