I have a better idea. Let's see him prove it is not the Word of God?

That's easy. If god created the universe he'd know the earth isn't three days older than the stars. The god of the bible clearly didn't know this. And that's just on the first half of the first page along with a host of other factual errors.

If we start with the presupposition that god created the universe and should therefore know this, we can easily conclude that god got Alzheimer's before he wrote this book or... he's purposely lying to us, ... Or its not his word.

In fact, we could just start with the presupposition that god's not stupid, and that should suffice.

(Rom 1:20) For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,

Uh huh. And that has 'what' to do with anything I said?

You asked for proof that the bible is not the word of god. I just gave it to you. But it didn't matter did it?

Ever wonder why not?

I am sorry I am too late to answer you in the correct place; I was new with “Clipmarks” and I didn’t know how to answer from the program itself. I tried to answer you by other means, without success.

This is what I said: Yes, of course, the creation story has a long controversy, the “word of God” versus science and consequently common sense. Even today you have the problem in teaching science in some parts of US, creationism vs the Big Bang theory.
