If you receive this (or any) email claiming to be from the IRS, delete it. The IRS does not contact taxpayers directly through email.

The only email you should ever get directly about your tax return will be sent by the software you used to prepare your return (e.g. if you used TaxACT, you would get a confirmation email from TaxACT, not the IRS.)
