The Civil Rights Act was passed in 1964, the House of Representatives apology for slavery was passed 2008, and the Senate apology for slavery was passed last week.

Isn’t it about time to move on?

I have a black friend who actively tries to find places to hide during Black History Month, and when they come looking for her at work to "help out," she gives them a piece of her mind.

I believe it was Morgan Freeman who basically said that we won't truly begin to get over it as a society until "Black History" becomes "American History."
