This is an unusually clear article on how to install Evernote in Linux.
Worked for me, don't know about these offline issues some people commenting about. I'll edit this with my experiences on that.
So far, so good.
[The article doesn't mention this, but you can also use the Synaptic Package Manger to get WINE]
