I liked the 'Send your name to a comet' for New Horizons. I wish they would do that with all the missions. I've sent my name with 2 missons so far. I have certificates in my scrapbooks to prove it.

Correction: New Horizons was a different send your name thing.

I signed up my father who is deceased, with the Dawn Mission a couple of months back. He was always intrigued with space, the shuttles, etc and I couldn't think of a better way to memorialize him and his existance on earth. I signed up my mother as well (she is still living and well). Her name will be "up there" with Dad's. Maybe there is such a thing as eternity.

I did all the RIPs in my family too!
I even put RIP in the name
