I can't speak for everyone but I am for a single-payer health care system. I feel health care is a right that should be granted all citizens. You evidently think that health care should be granted to people that can afford it only. Is that correct?

LOL! When necessary, yes. To get us out of the mess the republicans put us in with their deregulation of businesses and their failed dependency on unregulated capitalism to fix itself. As a rule of thumb, no. Again your brush is overly broad.

That's just ignorant but typical of the silly rhetoric coming from the far right fringe. What should be the case is that religious zealots should keep their dogma to themselves and not force others to follow it. Abortion is a difficult question that many women face and should be between a woman and her doctor - not between a woman and the government. It is not the governments place to use theists dogma to force women to act one way or another.

I partly agree with you here. Although I think you look at this in too much of a black/white way. And I noticed you are point blank anti-union as though they are the embodiment of evil. This view is not realistic. Unions, might I remind you, are responsible for ensuring a living wage, getting rid of sweatshops, stopping child labor abuses, and ending all manner of job discrimination to name just a few. Unions are a favorite boogie-man for corporations because they allow workers to have a voice against unfair labor practices and more importantly, corporations view unions as cutting into their bottom lines so are their natural enemies. Workers of course, don't agree with this view.

As far as special interest groups are concerned I agree that they need to be eliminated from the election process with public funded elections. I don't see this happening any time soon.

Health care? A reduction in defense funds (like the F2) and roll back of the Bush tax cuts, and closing the loopholes for off-shore tax evasion by corporations is a start. Plus, it's the moral thing to do. As I've stated before, health care should not be dependent on one's wealth. That is immoral.
