These 'checks' can only divulge records that are publicy stored and accessible. They will NOT reveal court decisions that are sealed, or other items that are considered 'questionable' but derogatory. Also keep in mind a hard credit check (if you have the persons SSN), can get you in legal trouble if it was not for a legally permissible purpose.
