However, the author needs to do a little research. Japan and Canada have not approved rGBH in dairy products, and in fact, have refused to do so. The Codex Alimentarius Commission, United Nations body that sets international food standards, has to date refused to approve rBST as safe. And while Monsanto is the creator of rGBH, they have gotten rid of it. Eli Lilly now manufactures and sells it. Interesting that a company that also manufactures breast cancer drugs is in charge of rGBH. In fact, the Breast Cancer Action Network has laid siege on Eli Lilly over this issue.
