So the bill's sponsor would provide a "certified copy" if he ever ran for President, but Hawaii's certified copy of President Obama's is not enough? Only the original will do in that case?

A certified photocopy of the original would do nicely for most.

Tell that to the birthers.

A lot of people that Obama supporters are trying to pigeonhole into being 'birthers' are simply people who wonder why he is willing to spend millions to keep from just showing what Hawaii officials say they have on record. He promised to have a more open administration, yet he will fight tooth and nail to prevent his original birth certificate from being shown.

I guess I just don't see the logic in him spending all that money fighting off lawsuits to see his original birth certificate. It just makes much more sense to bring in an independent document expert to view it and verify it it authentic then pass our photos of it to the media. It would be an easy thing to do, it would make his oppon...

No one has been able to point out to me the proof of these millions having been spent. I could use a good certified copy of his bank statement.

So you think the lawyers working on Obama's side to stop his birth certificate from being released are doing so out of the kindness of their hearts?

He's provided everything that is legally required. And my query is still unanswered. A supposition does not make fact.

Funny, but when Bush provided everything legally required it wasn't enough. Remember, it was Obama's promise to have the most open administration ever. The only thing he is proving by stonewalling is that he is a liar.

And it isn't supposition, lawyers aren't free.
