想做任何干擾進攻者的動作就是要在重心還在可掌控的範圍內，最好是以<FONT color="#ff6600">不失去原有重心的情況下</FONT>去做揮手或撥球等干擾進攻者的動作才不會跟不上進攻者的突然切入（不要真的去抄，機率上來說有點冒險，<FONT color="#ff6600">心態上應該是：撥到算賺到！</FONT>同觀念篇所說，<FONT color="#ff6600">個人防守的觀念應該是：降低進攻者的命中率</FONT>）。</DIV>

防守終究還是被動的，對方什麼時候要切入，什麼時候只是假切，什麼時候會出手投籃，什麼時候只是投籃假動作，<FONT color="#ff6600">決定權都在進攻方</FONT>，<FONT color="#ff6600">防守者最基本要做好的就是隨時維持住重心</FONT>，突然要往前封阻或往後退才可以在最快時間跟上，尤其厲害的進攻者會觀察防守方的重心再決定如何進攻，更會試圖把防守者重心晃掉，只要防守方重心一偏，就是切入或投籃的時機。</DIV>
