You know what they say---"Cats were once worshiped as gods in Egypt. Cats have never forgotten this." Whenever I'm sad, my kitty nuzzles me with his head & sits on my lap. If someone tries to disturb me, he hisses at them. Maybe he was a dog in his last life? Then to be complete have both...for me they are both special...and something else...my cat acts different than the one in the clip...it depends of the cat's personality... Turtles are the best.  Or Vietnamese pot-bellied pigs  My cats know when I'm sad too and come to comfort me, they come when I call, they all come running to the door when I get home and their love is unconditional too. Dogs and cats are different. Like daffodils and roses are. None is better than the other. (except cats don't drool...*LOL*) I'll take a cat over a dog any day. I don't know why, but I really don't like dogs. I will say though, as socratoad mentioned, pot-bellied pigs are an incredible pet. We had one when I was a kid and it was way better and cleaner (yes cleaner) than any other dog or cat we ever had. I like both! My cat is the sweetest cat ever and she's very smart as well. I wish I could show you clippers a picture of her you would fall in love. I use to hate cat's until I got her and then it all changed. I also agree with djkraz about pot-bellied pigs they are very clean animals my brother has one and it is sweet to..... [img]http://h03.net/DontLink/ANIgodzillaTitle.gif[/img] my cat will know if my g/f or i enter our building... his ears perk up and his head turns tho the door.. then he'll get up and run to the door.. about 2 minutes later, one of us enters.. we are amazed that he knows it is us from so far away... it is amusing to watch  Like a spouse early warning system He always greets us at the door & then chatters a bit about his day (well, that's what I assume hes telling me).. I have a male flame point Siamese that is so sweet, responsive, and loving that if I were a cat or he was a human, well...... to lizil, egyptians worshiped cats as mortal creatues, but their one of most importan god (anubis(also known as Anpu, Inpu, Ienpw or Imeut) (one of the gods of death (formerly the main god of death) ) ) was a dog, and their first most importand was ra a bird who child was called osiris, who took over anubises place as he main god of death, anubis was te second most important god becuase the egyptians beleive in death as a good thing, and when a pharoah died, the most powerful priest wore a mask o anubis as the pharoah was mummified, so cat where worship in egypt but a dog was more importan than any cat yes there was a cat god called Sekhmet, who was the power that protects the good and an... A dog looks at us and thinks, "They feed me, give me a home and see to my needs; they must be gods." A cat looks at us and thinks, "They feed me, give me a home and see to my needs; I must be a god." The dog is fairly better than the cat. More a cat a favorite thing does not talk anyone. The dog victory by large. I know dogs are great but I also know that my cat is THE GREATEST. Okay let me see dogs lick there butts then they lick your mouth to some weird and retarded people this might seem okay. Another thing it has been proven that dogs lick peoples mouths to make them through ups to they can eat it. Cats can be trained like my cat if you use there name enough they will come when you call them. Dogs are annoying because they drool all over you and always need attention. I live on a farm and dogs are always coming here and pestering our livestock they are a pest. I hate dogs they are good for nothing unless you train them to be work dogs and even then they are a problem (we have to sheep dogs) I like cats more. Cats are a lot more calm. |
