I AM from the south, hon. But I've seen many wordings aimed at Mexican stereotypes. Many of them ARE funny, and his Mexican family thinks so too. But that one hit me wrong.

Text is so very literal, googleit, and sometimes it's hard to tell what's tongue in cheek. Hearing my husband's stories about acts against him for being Mexican (and not even darker-skinned; he's fair and blue-eyed), sometimes I'll react to a statement that seems to go along those lines.
