We don't have time to waste explaining why they should take school seriously. We need leaders whose entire lives reflect that concept instantly and obviously. True leaders that take life and education more seriously than did Bush and now McCain. We shouldn't have a candidate that feels it's humorous to call a 16 year old a jerk for asking if he's too old to be president. We shouldn't have a candidate that sings "Bomb Bomb Bomb...Bomb Bomb Iran." to the tune of a Beach Boy song. It's not that this isn't funny....it's that the U.S. needs a president to understand it would be a lot funnier if we were well on the road to peace and not war. It would be a lot funnier if we didn't make such a humongous mistake in Iraq. Both candidates reject the Bush administrations' handling of Iraq and one rejected the idea of getting into Iraq in the first place. The question is really will Barack Obama embody the style, the inspiration and the vision of the leader we need or is the style, the vision and the inspiration of John McCain preferable?
