I was an infrequent purchaser of the monitor but there is a Christian Science Reading Room near where I work and I would pick up a paper from time to time. I'm not hooked up to my computer 24/7, more like 22/6, and I like the act of reading in places other than my desk. Yes, the future of magazine is emerging in a very different manner. Now the media channels are driven by technologies like web, podcasts, RSS, mobile, social media etc. For online publishing, there are some companies like Pressmart http://www.pressmart.net/eedition.html which helps the publisher to distribute their news through online magazine software.
