It is so hard to feel any sympathy for the Jews, when you hear of their constant inhumanity to other humans, especially children. Maybe they figure the kids don't need education, because sooner or later they will be wiped out by cluster bombs and other cruel weapons.
Many have seen the plight of those blown apart by land mines. The jews obviously don't care about the suffering inflicted by cluster bombs that lie there until inquisitive or unlucky people set them off.

tabsey, you overlook a couple of things:

1. Indifference to the suffering of others is fairly widespread throughout the human species
2. There is much variability within human groups, including Jews. Some Jews like treating Palestinians like dirt; others are for the occupation but are deluded about its human costs; others are very vigorous in arguing against Israeli human rights violations; others are probably apathetic and don't care about the occupation one way or the other.
3. Jews are not equivalent to Israelis, who are not equivalent to the policies and practices of the Israeli state.
