blueridge says: Bloggers confronted Homeland Security Chertoff on a range of surveillance and "security" measures he is trying to force through while claiming that no privacy rights are being violated. After looking closer at the "bloggers" he met with it appears they are hardly rough critics, that this was done for show somewhat. "Homeland Security Watch" takes a view as if there is need for this extra-constitutional agency and that threats of terrorism are of tantamount importance instead of incredibly overblown. The article however sheds some important light on Chertoff's dictatorial approach to pushing "security" measures before the Bush term expires. |
