I admit I am very interested in Dubai....I hope to get over there soon and check it out. yea very cool Yikes! I'm certain that I could not venture anywhere near the top of that building. It's apparently a very wealthy place. Did you read the article about a business man from there who paid multi-millions for a camel? If you decide to go, good luck getting around....traffic there is horrible. And if you miss your exit....ooooo, it'll take about 45 minutes to get back on track. I went there for work last month and one of the trucks took a wrong turn. The work was delayed for nearly 3 hours. Baaaaad roads, bad!! And the fine for hitting/running over a camel is more than the fine for hitting a person. On the other hand, if you hit a local, it'll cost you waaaay more than if you hit an expat. Dubai has go to be one of the coolest places on earth. You can play tennis on the helipad at the top of the Berj. And don't forget to check out the Palm islands they're building. |
