I thought it was funny when Russia recently decided to "allow" Americans access to Afghanistan via Russian territory.
Russians know Afghanistan is a quagmire, and would be delighted to see American Imperialism collapse the same way the USSR collapsed...
Very clever Russia! Give Americans enough rope....
It is helpful to keep in mind that Americans are targeting people...who are targeting Americans... for targeting them...
It reminds me of the child who complains to the adult, "HE HIT ME BACK!!! WAAAAAHHHHHH"

Ps. Dear Barack Obama, it irritates me to no end when your subordinates use phrases like, "we will negotiate with XXXX, but the military option is always on the table"
