And here I am.</div> <br><div> I actually enjoyed watching the PM read a children's book called <i>I'll Love You Forever</i> to the preternaturally photogenic children. When things get this surreal, you might as well just go with it.</div> <br><div> But when he reached for a second book, while teams of photographers and cameramen snapped away, and rows of tape recorders captured every gasp and gurgle -- as well as everything the children said -- I went looking for distractions.</div> Of course I found one, at the back of the little country kindergarten, where I found a picnic table, a tiny chair, and a box of yellow alphabet building blocks. I knew my task immediately. After I had laboured away for a few minutes, a photographer who has asked to remain nameless captured the fruits of my labours.
