It is the same story with oil and mining companies all over Africa. And it doesn't finish when they leave. It usually takes nature decades to repair the damage and pollution. The govt will have lost power and the country will also be in turmoil for decades.
Then the "generous" drug companies move in with free cures. Just happens they are testing the drug at the same time.
