dorine says: "...a state labor inspector was turned away from the site..." Who else could turn a state inspector away? This show is an experiment. I don't know if I'll watch it, but something about it is compelling. I can't help but wonder how the kids worked things out, so that's the pull for me. What do you think? I think CBS should be forced to pay them more than $5,000. Hope it'll come across Europe, i'm curious for the same reason you are. It will be interesting to see how many kids come away with a victim mentality and how many come to realize that being a kid isn't all that bad. While not a big fan of "reality" shows, I think I'll watch this one for the same reason I watch Wife Swap. I like to see karma in action, even if it is scripted. The whole reality scene is zooming out of control. How could parents sign their children up for this sort of thing. How well will the children be, physically and psychologically. What real value, except to those trained to take knowledge from this professionally. We site there looking at curiosities being paid a pittance to put their well being on the line. Louis Armstrong is dead and his wonderful song is dying! All reality TV is exploitative. This sounds even worse than most. Definitely will not watch it should it come here. |
