Depending on the quality and materials used on the construction of homes the damage can be from minimal to catastrophic. In the case of the average American suburban home it would be the latter due to the fact they are made of light and highly flammable materials. Look around the average city block and you won't find much that at .50 caliber machine gun bullet won't e able to get through. Marble - lots of good fragments. Wood, wallbaord, neon, concrete - lots of good things that can help kill.

Perhaps you should concentrate your fury on the .50 caliber machine gun bullets produced in the thousands (tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands?) every day.

Finally I agree with ColoradoWrong on something. I concur that we spend way to much of our Treasury on wasteful military spending when we could alleviate hunger in the entire world (many times over for the price we paid to fight a war based on lies in Iraq).
