dfiskey says: can't we just agree to NOT wear these stupid shoes-- and if nothing else, not put our young toddlers in them-- it's a trend i've held strong on NOT being a part of. I really think these shoes are not safe, rather ugly.. and really just a dumb parenting decision. I read somewhere that crocs were banned at a European hospital, that the static affected the electronics. No idea if that's true or not. Crocs remind me of the jellies from yesteryear, only uglier. I had a pair of jellies and loved them. Then again, I was about 9 at the time. guys, time to 'fess up - I've a pair under my desk here at work (they're crocs copies that I got in Italy for 4 euros - I'm hoping this earns me some forgiveness...) i remember 'jellies' i had them too-- in clear and in a light pink- i think crocs are MUCH uglier actually!-- i was about 7 when i had jellies- so i think it's safe to blame our parents for encouraging that trend too! OMG I have hated these things since the day I first saw them! They should be banned. I have two pair and I love them. These people who are tripping should learn how to walk. Seriously. I wear them as slippers, I wear them in the shower when I'm camping. I don't wear them as a high fashion accessory by any means, but they are comfortable as hell. Like I always say, if you don't like something, don't wear it, don't use it. Agree! A poor use for plastic. If you have foot and leg problems, give 'em a try. At 73 I can stand and walk like I haven't done in 25 years. Better than orthotics and other arch supports (for me), better than expensive shoes (again, for me). The $30 to $40 you'll invest could be a life saver to you (if you can stand such comments as those above). If they don't help, you've got shower/garden/ whatever shoes to loaf around in |
