OUCH! I sure hope this is a temporary reduction and not a more long lasting hit to the green energy industry. Whatever happens in the next year or two, it seems imperative for so many reasons that the alternative energy sector be amongst the leading industries over the next few decades.

Expect the Republicans and some coal/oil Democrats to try to push that number even lower.
