It looks to me like Barney caught O'reilly unprepared with his start date and the regulatory legislation that he had just passed, and that O'reilly then lashed out to cover his rear end. Otherwise, why would O'reilly only read part of the quote at the end of the interview. He was obviously covering up/bullying the situation.

Republicans have gone bonkers over the dawning of big government, all due to their own doing.

Naive.
Uninformed.
There are countless points and examples of truths which counter this weak generality ~ this exercize in scapegoating, denial, and rigid refusal by the Dem. congress and the news media to be progressive in any eforts at common decency.

After the daily behavior of Barney the past 2 weeks, shrouded in clouds of smoke cover by his peers, yes, it is fun to see him squirm and start to look truly defensive and a bit scared under O'Reilly's attack. Yes, Bill O. went overboard. This is actually one of the least effective things he ought to have nailed him on. And the rage loses the intent - which should be to expose Baarney and cohorts. This is just red-meat for those of us who are already aware of their complicity. And, Aris, your response is predictable and understandable by one who is unaware - and probably will refuse to make himself aware. The truth is out there and you will only get it on the MSM in passing, short, and quic...

Actually, arisfali, I have to be honest. I thought I was reacting to another "deregulation" argument. I'm listening to C-Span and I got my message input crossed. Actually, if you're speaking of the over-spending, etc., etc. I'm largely in agreement.

It isn't just O'Reilly, almost all the right-wing talk radio hosts have gone overboard. Well I feel sympathy for them, they have no choice left anyway.

Impaled? How about imprisoned? What these democrats have done is criminal. Where's the media outrage? Where's the investagitive journalism? In China, these greedy and corrupt rats would be executed.

I've never seen Frank's picture before... doesn't he reminid you of a slimy NY rat?
