I think we must ban all privately owned armies in the US. It is too dangerous to have these armies under private control. Also, we should ban the use of these private arms by the US government. The dynamics of how and when the US government uses military force changes significantly when these private forces are used. Not using these private armies will force the US government to be forthcoming with any military force used, forthcoming to the US public and the world. It forces accountability.
