The whole thing is just black humour

I hear that. In much the same way that any U.N.resolutions to make hizb'allah disarm, or IAEA getting "full,open" access to Iran's nuclear sites, or Sudan,China,Saudi Arabia etc. being on HumanRights Commision, etc. The most noise about invading Iran comes from screamers on the internet, trying to arouse fear and suspicion about the U.S.govt. I maintain they're not going to do it. Unless there is some real,discernable, blatant threatening motion by the mullahs, it's gonna remain proxy, and we'll probably have to put up with their interference in Iraq as they try to kill our folks,and Iraqis, fomenting general mischief .

An initial thing to recollect here is how their backing of hizb'allah was responsible for so many atrocities over the years.
It's disturbing how many have missed that this whole deal is not seperate things that start and end with 1 country,and issues with another country is a seperate deal. The mind has to be relieved of some rigidity and narrow thinking and realize things in a bigger picture. Spacewise AND timewise. Just think of the whole middle east that has so much concentrated anti-Western, violence oriented ideology.Go over all the attacks and the threats over 30 yrs. (more?) It was not going to subside This was not the Iraq war. Then another move would be a different war. That is not it.

The reasons don't have to be one or the other. They are all interdependent and overlapping and it is, has always been, a distraction and a distortion to do this little game of: "Gotcha.I thought it was 'cause of such & such". That is just goofy. Were there a personality in a man who could present his damn self and speak, while communicating these things to the nation, then, after that, brushing off those distortions with a subtlety that exposes them for what they are, we'd be a hell of a lot better off. Point to ponder over days , weeks,...: What becomes of the WHOLE economy, lifestyle,,everything, if the flow of oil was diverted, disrupted, stopped, taken over, whatever, and leaves the U.S. out? Gas 3,4 times what it is now? Limited supply? We have to 'blow' the mullahs to get a shipment? Everything that takes oil is down. Economy drops. That "war for oil" is another thing distorted and left unexplained by this crap communicator. The implication is that it's so we can steal it.Or just bully control of it.They should have been up front at the gate that maintaining the free flow of oil was part of the whole deal. All you'd get now would be, "I toldja" And I think Greenspan was misread. He said he was sad that it HAS to be so inconvenient to explain these facts. And it is. And it is sad,that you can't lay it out straight to those who don't see the neccessity to keep the open market open. If the oil wasn't there, the fanatic distorters of Islam wouldn't be all aflame and they night not be killing Westerners the last few decades. You can't remove oil from the picture and no one reason can stand alone.So it is illogical to make this "shifting reasons" charge.That is highly dishonest. On top of murderous attacks,culminating in 9/11, the economy and market was at threat .
