it went on to say that these skeletons were first spotted in 1978- then excavated some 20 years later.....but it wasn't till 2001 that researchers were able to unearth all 25 of the sinornithomimus-or Chinese bird mimic skeletons. They were brought to the University of Chicago for research and preservation....but will return to China at the end of the year-
