Whenever we deviate from Godly principles or sound biblical wisdom our society suffers for it. Here is just another example of a society drunk on its own foolishness disregarding the obvious in favor of an anti-Christian value system. Regardless of the ill effects a public policy may have on our society those who set such policy refuse to acknowledge the failure of such policies. Their reasoning would appear to be anything but Judeo Christian values. Even though those same values, when enacted, lead to a better society they still refuse to acknowledge its benefits. Our own national history is riddled with glaring examples of the benefits of leading a Godly life in society. Yet in today's culture being "Christian" is politically incorrect and thusly forbidden.

So spare the rod and drug your kids has become the acceptable manner in which we discipline our children. Excuse me but I think a good swat on the buttocks works better and swifter then Prozac. But what do I know?

Those early years between 2 and 6 are the times to instill proper manners and behavior in a child. Often, it only takes a sharp word. The issue is consistency. I always explained to my children that it was important to be kind and courteous to everyone because then they would enjoy your company and want to spend time with you. Bad and obnoxious children/people *no one* likes!

If a child is allowed to rule the home at 4, imagine what you will be dealing with at 14.
