I know this guy in Utah who claims that the Book of Mormon was written by one of his ancestor who wrote it as a work of fiction. Joseph Smith stole it and well you know what happened next. True story? I don't know - except for the book being a work of fiction...

I tend to read FIRST HAND and then make my assumptions based on MY interpretations.I dont want anyone thinking for me.I may not have all the answers but at least I dont depend on anyone to express my views on a subject.

Zizzy's comment is correct, the Book of Mormon was originally written as a book of fiction. Here is the historical proof, sufficient for a testimony in a court of law:

Nice one, thanks.Another good example of what other people write about something else is taken as the ultimate truth.These are the dangers of the internet in these days (and other associated media).Type a document, make it presentable and there we have it.Proof! Let's even call it historical proof...The funny thing is that the "book of fiction" (aka as the Spaulding manuscript) is different from the Book of Mormon...
