It's the most difficult time in a Gay person's life. And I think I can say that for any Gay person who had discovered their sexuality before or during those years. The worst part for a lot of us was being attracted to other kids of the same sex who were not gay. Either that or in my case, being attracted to girls who were gay but were strongly opposed to their own sexuality. Every time they looked at me they saw the part of themselves that they hated. And I couldn't do a thing about it.
