Nació en Murcia el 28 de Septiembre de 1895 y murió en Cloydon ( Inglaterra )  el 19 de Diciembre de 1936, victima de un accidente  aéreo en una línea regular en la que viajaba de pasajero. Hijo del gran abogado y político murciano. Era Ingeniero de Caminos, Canales y Puertos y piloto. Su primer vuelo en autogiro lo realizó en 1924 y un año mas tarde realizaría otro entre Getafe y Cuatro Vientos ( Madrid ). La característica del autogiro es que su propulsión es gracias a la hélice  y sus alas son  un rotor que gira merced al viento ( no estaba conectado al motor )  lo que le proporciona gran estabilidad. Fue el precursor de los helicópteros pero en éstos  la propulsión la realiza el rotor.
