Oh to know the true nature of everything... the wonder of it all.

Somehow, I feel that if you knew the answers, it would take the enjoyment out of our existence. It is the "not knowing" that makes the "seeking" meaningful, fulfilling and joyful. What joy is there in reading a book which you already know the end, middle and beginning. Where is the pleasure in watching a move when you know from moment to moment what comes next.

If you were an knowing God, I would think it be boring. If God were bored, how would he find enjoyment? He would create a world where he would put portions of his consciousness into living units and isolate these potions of consciou...

What joy is there in reading a book which you already know the end, middle and beginning. Where is the pleasure in watching a move when you know from moment to moment what comes next.

He would create a world where he would put portions of his consciousness into living units and isolate these potions of consciousness from his main self so that they would no longer have full knowledge of all things. He then would let the units have the freedom to live and enjoy the experience searching for and discovering the truths about existence and it is through this process that God has creates for himself the means by which he can once again finds enjoyment in his existence.

I don't know if this is true or not but it sound logical to me.

In any case, I don't want to know if it is true or not. What fun would there be in that?
