@Alanocu. My sister is a brilliant quilter and runs her own quilting school. She creates on commission and, being a perfectionist, some can take months to complete. She maintains she can rarely recoup in monetary terms the man-hours spent, especially as a lot of her work is hand-sewn. It's a marvellous artform and there are some extraordinarily gifted quilters in this world. (I on the other hand can't thread a needle, let alone sew!)

Sadly, I spent my time in all girls sewing class in high school flirting with the girls. While one of the cutest girls in the class actually did my project for me, my sliding by on looks and personality (Gawd, even the teacher laughed at my silliness) did NOT actually teach me anything, especially since that teacher had tenure and would have rather been amused than actually teach. hahahahahahahahaha, to my credit I've taught myself how to sew a button
