disenchantedcitizen says: Same ole tired schoolyard-punk rhetoric. This type of incendiary accusation is simply ludicrous. If the Grand Old Party would put some effort into offering something constructive to help the U.S. find peace in the world and lose the 'woe is me, we lost the election' crybaby routine and stop manufacturing derogatory and ridiculous statements we would ALL be better off. Give it a rest already. Is he paid to come up with these ideas? He can speak to my garden - I need the manure. Another example of projection. Just because Republicans excel at dog-whistle politics and euphemisms for war and empire, does not mean that Obama is doing the same. "Respect" is a dirty word to conservatives. In fact, I'm getting the feeling that they think words are dirty in general. Guns. Now that's clean, honest, AMERICAN communication, the way Jesus intended it. Man, this guy is stupid. Respect is much more powerful, I expect, in tribal societies than it is in industrial ones. The problem is that Republicans don't know what a dictionary is, or how to use one. Kind of hard to understand someone speaking clearly when you don't know what the words mean. |
