From what I've been hearing is not that pedophelia is being protected by this act, but that it is not necessary to cover pedophelia under this law because those offenses have more than adequate enforcement in other parts of the USC. I also doesn't cover auto theft, either, because it doesn't have to, but nobody's calling it the "Auto Theft Promotion Act".
