this is puzzling to me also. In my state, homeschools are considered private schools, and so if the school district has an obligation to bring services to us in the case of special education...how come so many of us have to PAY for those services and then go to another school to get them?
not that I would necessarily want them to bring their services to us.. Homeschooling is an ideal environment for special education, and I don't think that as many homeschooled kids will require it from another source.
