Groups with their roots in the ‘social revolution’ of the 60’s, such as Black Panthers, Weathermen, Students for a Democratic Society; and the Symbionese Liberation Army (of the early 70’s) were all radically leftist. Unfortunately, they did not rule out violence to alter the course of society to their ideals but they fought for change on behalf of the poor.

None of them, however, sought the assassination of any leader, and none of them plotted a killing spree.

Sure some of the more extreme members blew up buildings but it was never their intent to murder anyone.

Personally, I'd back a revolution that would benefit the poor before one that would benefit the rich. But, No Violence Please!
