Cool :The reason we can make electricity, is because the Planet is a whopping great Magnet. There are bound to be Millions of ways we can convert this giant magnetic field into Energy we can use. With magnetic energy there is no waste.

Until they discover the health problesm associated with large magnetic fields. There are not large enough ones present in the home to pose a risk yet or to obtain a measure of the risk. Give it time.

The earth magnetic field has nothing to do with being able to generate electricity. It is true a magnetic field is needed, but it is not usually earth's.

I admit my statement was too sweeping, considering the way it was used in the fridge. I was thinking that the Earth's magnetic field has such a great potential as an energy source, considering the ways we know how to use magnetism to generate electricity. At the moment the fridge stands on it's own merit. Not being a different way of cooling, but an innovative way of cooling.

I really don't think this fridge would have to have an extremely large magnetic field...

So ... would we decorate this fridge with *non*-magnetic word poetry?
