Sarah’s biggest problem (caveat: that we know of) is the so-called Troopergate scandal. Whereas it would certainly be in our country’s best interest to know if Palin abused her power before we vote, John McCain apparently has plenty of private exceptions to his public proclamation: “Country First!” Effortlessly placing campaign above country, he has deployed a militia of lawyer insurgents to storm Juneau to try to undermine the Alaska legislature’s effort to find out if Palin broke the law.

Clearly, this is one of the other exceptions we keep seeing: to how John will bring a change from the Bush years.

John McCain said, “We don’t need another politician in Washington who puts self-interest and political expediency ahead of problem solving.”
And why was it he chose Sarah Palin?
Best qualified? Nah.
Agreement with her outlook? Nah.
Readiness for the job? Nah.
Free from any hint of corruption? Nah.
"Country first?" Nah.

One reason:
He's a
politician in Washington who puts self-interest and political expediency ahead
of the nation's best interest.

Her wanting to ban books from her small town library is also a fact, I believe. Besides "all the usual suspects," she wanted to prohibit, she also wanted to ban two plays by Shakespeare and the Canterbury Tales.

I ain't no Eglish Mager, nor nothin' but I belved tis is "way beyond the pale."

I also hear the audio tape where she laughed when a female political opponent was called, "a cancer, a fat ass, a bitch and a bad mother."

Article and this audio tape radio interview can be found, at: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/08/31/palin-laughs-as-opponent_n_122776.html?page=3
