Give it time. Most of the sex stores go broke, once the people from nearby towns have visited it. And the kids have cleaned it out through curiosity. Run a sweep on the number of times "You wouldn't catch me dead in there." is said once the shop opens. Second sweep could be the number of times "The missus would kill me if I went in there." is heard.

Not too sure about that. A sex shop opened in a new suburb (Kilsyth) around 1970. The young families then are all grandparents now ... and the sex shop is still there (to my recent amazement)
